AA Fitness 312 is a tribute to what I love most in life, my family and fitness.  My first daughter, Avery Ann will always be my inspiration to be a better person, father, husband, brother and coach (trainer). Avery Ann was a little bundle of spunk, one of the toughest individuals I ever met.  She blessed my life for 312 days before passing.  As a tribute to her, my two passions became fused, hence AA Fitness 312.

Always Active Fitness 312 began in 2019 in Issaquah Washington.  I am the founder and owner who has always been passionate about health and wellness with a focus on fitness.  I grew up in a small town in Eastern Montana and enjoyed being outdoors and staying active as a staple part of my youth.  Once in college I focused my athletic abilities toward Track and Field as a pole vaulter, eventually transitioning to a NCAA Collegiate decathlete.   I received my Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance and Master’s in Business from University of Montana.  I then moved to Seattle in 2005 and began working for an exclusive gym in Bellevue Washington as a manager, personal trainer and group fitness instructor for 14 years before opening my own business, Always Active Fitness 312.  I saw a need to provide individuals a well-rounded fitness approach, focusing on incremental goals over a broader scope to achieve compounded lifestyle changes.  To provide clients a place to perform exercise components necessary to improve their lifestyle goals, I opened and a 4000 square foot facility equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and located in the Beacon Hill community of Seattle, WA.

Always Active Fitness 312 focuses on 6 key components, or as I call them, pillars.  They include nutrition, exercise, hydration, sleep, stress reduction and consistency.   I enjoy working with my clients on making healthy choices to improve their overall health and wellness. Perfection is not seen as the goal, but instead pursing a lifetime of small changes to help your body achieve the best possible health and quality of life.

I want to encourage all my clients to break down health and wellness with one small change at a time.  I have witnessed people making significant changes to their lives too quickly without proper planning or support from those around them.  This usually leads to failure in the eye of the participant because they were unable to achieve their goal or perform at the level set for themselves.  Proper goal setting and planning, the “what” and “why” of making a change is the first challenge I focus with clients.   Once we identify these, I begin coaching clients on “how” to carry out their goals with individualized progressive programming and consistency.
